About CGPA to Percent
About CGPA to Percent: a free CGPA to percentage calculator using official university rules, with SGPA to CGPA tools. No signup, no data stored.
CGPA to Percent (cgpatopercent.online) is a free set of grade calculators built for university students in India. Its main tool converts CGPA to percentage using each university's own official rule — not one guessed formula for everyone — and shows the official university document behind every result.
What you can calculate here
- CGPA to Percentage Calculator — apply your university's official conversion, with the formula shown in your numbers.
- Percentage to CGPA Calculator — the reverse conversion under the same official rules.
- SGPA to CGPA Calculator — combine semester SGPAs, simple or credit-weighted, with a running breakdown.
- SGPA Calculator — one semester from subject grade points and credits.
- Student tools — SGPA to Percentage, Marks Percentage, a Target CGPA planner, an Attendance (75%) calculator and an indicative CGPA to GPA (4.0) converter.
- CGPA-to-percentage pages for Anna University, AKTU, GTU, MAKAUT, Delhi University, CBSE Class 10 and the CGPA to Percentage Chart comparing every verified rule — plus a dedicated CGPA-to-percentage page for every university and board covered, listed state-wise on the All Universities page.
- University pages for VTU, KTU, SPPU, JNTUH, JNTUK, SRM, Mumbai University, University of Calcutta and University of Calicut, plus guides such as the CGPA to Percentage formula guide.
How the formulas are chosen
Every percentage rule on this site is taken from the university's own official document and linked from the result, with the date we checked it: VTU's Regulations 2022 (clause 22OB 6.7) and its CGPA Standard Formula page for the 2015–2018 schemes, JNTUH's Academic Regulations (clause 11.2), KTU's University Orders of 2023, SPPU's Circular 332/2020, JNTUK's Regulations R19, SRM's Controller of Examinations conversion page, the University of Calcutta's Notification CSR/143/2024, the University of Calicut's U.O. 13085/2023, Anna University's ACOE conversion letter, GTU's Notification 1/2012, MAKAUT's grade-point notice, AKTU's B.Tech Ordinance 2018-19 (Revised), the University of Delhi's Ordinance VIII addition of 2023 and CBCS notification, GGSIPU's examination ordinance, RGPV's Credit Based Grading System ordinance, BPUT's conversion rule notice, IKGPTU's multiplier notification of 2021, BHU's ordinance conversion (10 × CGPA − 4.5) and CBSE's Class 10 indicative-percentage circular. Where a university has changed its process, we say so — the University of Mumbai repealed formula conversion on 1 January 2026, so its pages explain the official marks-based process instead of printing a number. We never copy formulas or tables from other calculator websites.
How the calculators work
We explain every formula in plain language and show your numbers substituted, so you can hand-check the result. Weighted CGPA uses Σ(SGPA×credits)/Σcredits and simple CGPA uses ΣSGPA/n. After one semester, CGPA equals SGPA. Everything runs in your browser: no marks are sent to a server, stored, or tracked, and there are no ads or signup walls. The site works offline after the first load and can be added to your home screen.
Accuracy and corrections
Results are estimates to help you check and plan; your university's official result is always final. Rules can change by scheme and regulation year, so match the rule shown to your own batch before using a converted figure on an official form. Found an error, or a newer official rule? Contact us with the official document link and we will update the rule with its source and checked date.
